Les Collons
4 Valleys / Verbier: Thyon 2000/Les Collons is a skiers and boarders dream having great snow from November to April (and occasionally in August!).
Located in the 4 Valleys region it benefits from one of the largest ski regions in Europe with over 400 kms of pistes and over 100 ski-lifts.
The ski area above Les Collons is fabulous with wide open and sunny slopes, perfect for all, and includes one of the most famous ski slopes in the Alps, the fabulous World Cup ladies downhill run, Piste de L'Ours. The area boasts some of the best off piste you can ski anywhere. There is no need to ski to Verbier but you can get there on skis in less than an hour.

The Chalet
Located in the heart of Les Collons at 1800 metres, Chalet Datcha is ideally situated for winter and summer holidays. The 30 year old chalet has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It comprises:

Les Collons is located on a series of levels from 1500m to 1850m reached by a road zigzagging up from Vex. The chalet is located at 1800m, in the heart of the village.
This situation is ideal for access to local bars and restaurants; the bakery is 30 metres away, the supermarket 150 metres and most importantly for winter guests, the Trabanta chairlift is only 150 metres from the chalet. There is a footpath behind the chalet allowing pedestrians to reach the facilities at 1850m in about 5 minutes, including ski school, the Joc teleski and La Luge, the village's fantastic pizza restaurant.

Also at 1850m there is a pine forest through which visitors can reach the Alpage, the large alpine meadow awash with wild flowers in the summer, and part of the gentle skiing area of Les Collons and Thyon in the winter.
The village also has a post office, sports shops and bank. Larger supermarkets and more restaurants are located in Sion.
